"Add New" function/option on plugins and themes not appearing

Hi angelmetatron,

I think it is an issue of js in admin folder..because at the time of updation all content in the folder get changed. May be in version 3.5 it is slightly different from previous versions. So try activating default theme of version 3.5 that is twentytwelve.
You will find “add new” and then again activate your current theme.
May be your problem will solve..
You can try to manually upload plugin files by FTP. change the permissions to plugin folder 777 for a while and after uploading you can change them as they were.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I’ve already tried deactivating my current theme and activated the default theme but that didn’t fixed the problem.

same issue here please tell me if how can get back the “Add new” option under plugin section
