Add More Image Sliders

    I would like to add two more slides to my front page. I already have the default four that I am using, but would like to add two more slides to the front page. I am very adept in code, but can’t seem to find where the loop commands or amount of slides options in the code is. Thanks for the Help!

    There are two files you need to modify. The first is the slides.php file. It’s located in the root of the openstrap theme directory. And the second is the options.php file. It’s located in the openstrap>inc directory.

    options.php controls the image fields on the Front Page Settings tab in admin.

    slides.php tells the slider which images to load.

    I don’t think you can use these files from a child theme, so make sure you save backups for when you update the theme. You’ll need to replace after the update.

    Hello Pavan,

    I also tried to add 2 more images on the Home Sliders by modifying the options.php and slides.php. On WP dashboard I can see that I can add the two images already but once I added and saved. I cannot view the homepage, its just blank. The other pages I am able to view, its just the home page that’s not working. Any ideas why this is so?
