Add more category-layers with pods?

Hi there,

I’d like to use Pods to add more “category-layers” to the the default post type. I mean, by default there is only one layer called “categories” and one layer called “tags”.

But in my case it gets very confusing, for I have sooo many categories from sooo many topics! It’s hard to organize that. It would be more neatly to have an area called “topic-categories” and another called “employees-categories”, …

But all these for the same post-type (default post-type).

Is this possible with Pods?
