    Hi,

Add meta tags is not compatible with Visual Composer plugin

I’ve received feedback about Visual Composer’s shortcodes not being removed from the descriptions.

There is no other known issue.

I’m sorry to put it this way, but my free time is very limited and I can fix nothing unless you provide me with much more details about your setup, the post type involved, the results you are getting and the results you expected. User feedback is mandatory. ??

I checked the the first link using the Google Structured Data Tool and I see multiple Article objects. All have their properties as expected. I don’t see any long blank space.

I cannot understand what the problem is. Need more details.

    Kind Regards,
    George

If you use the Schema.org Microdata generator (and not the Schema.org JSON-LD generator) there is a possibility that the way the meta tags are added inside the body of the page affect the theme.

There is nothing that can be done for this by me. This is the only way to add meta tags inside the HTML body.

Possible workarounds are 1) to change the CSS and make sure the matching is done using IDs and classes (No use of ‘>’) or 2) to enable the JSON-LD generator in the Add-meta-tags settings so that the schema.org metadata is added at the top of the page. However, I’m not sure if that would work fine for this page which apparently contains multiple posts in it.

Took a look again at the validator results. Now I see a single Article object, which is the expected result. All properties are populated. I assume that you are working on it. If the problem persists, please let me know about the details.

I enabled the JSON-LD generator in the Add-meta-tags and the problem is solved now, thank you very much for your detail answer, George

Hi, glad you have sorted it out, Jesse.

Please let me know if you encounter any more issues. I’ll now mark the topic as resolved.
