Add Meta Tag to Indavidual Page Page Head

  • I would like to add a meta tag to the head of several blog posts on my site. Each page will have a separate and individual reference tag to be added to the head. I have tried several plugins but they conflict with Yoast SEO.

    How do I successfully add a meta tags to the head of individual posts?

  • Hello Stephen88,
    There are 2 ways to add meta tag to indivdual post:
    1.You will have to create custom fields for each and call their values in header.php
    2.You can also create a function to automatically use content/excerpt for meta description & category/tag for meta keyword.
    It’s fairly easy
