• After installing the plugin, go to the option >> Menu >> does not appear the option item Downloads, where I can add download items in the menu created. I thought it was conflicting with other plugins, I ran a test from a zeroed install of wordpress, just adding the BFD plugin, and I was not successful.

    Hi Marcos,
Thanks for checking out the plugin ??

The Downloads menu item will appear in the
Admin panel menu, the same menu with links to the Dashboard, Plugins etc.

Maybe you could post a screenshot of your problem and I’ll try and help you out.

    Cheers,

    Nik

    Thanks, Nik.

Sorry, cut a word in the previous text, which left the question difficult to understand. The issue is not the download menu on the dashboard. My problem is the menu appearance (dashboard), sub menu “menu, where we can create a main menu, and sub menu. In this place we create menu from pages, post and links, and of course also with plugins like BFD. But the download menu in this place does not appear.

    Hi Marcos,

    Ok, now I understand ??

To be honest, I really have no idea why the downloads aren’t appearing in the appearance>Menus submenu?

I have just checked all my installations of BFD and they are all showing the Downloads item in that submenu.

It could be that the items will not appear until after you have added some downloads through my plugin, have you added any files for download?

If you haven’t, try adding a couple of test files and maybe a category also and see if that solves the problem.

Let me know how you get on with it.

    Cheers,
    Nik
