Add/insert media prob. 'An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later'

    Today I tried to upload a picture and this error occured. Yesterday I had no problem, but when I upload a picture now, I get the error: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
    Although the file is uploaded successfully my media library is blank. There is notthing visible in the media library, although there are files in there. I disabled all the lugins and re-enabled them. No change. The only plugin I installed lately was Counterize+manual update of Google Adsense Plugin (which is inactive). I have disabled them both it completely.

    P.S: The ‘upload’ button in the posts does not work at all.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    The last one resolved the mess. Re-uploaded the stuff you told me. I pray God now everything is in place, because rebuilding the content will take me another 3 days. ??
