Add Media: images cannot be selected to insert into a post

    Hi,

    I have the same problem as logged by someone else:

    WP: 4.9.8
    Plugin version: 1.9.48

    Problem: trying to add an image to a post -> go to “Add Media”. I see all my images of my media library greyed out. The scrollbar cannot be clicked. I cannot click & select on an image to insert into the post. The modal window is frozen.

    No error in the browser console.

    When I disable the plugin, I can immediately select my images again. So I do this as very annoying workaround.

    Solutions tried out:
    * other media managers: the images remain greyed out (except the unattached images)
    * I do not have the problem on other websites.
    * set CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS=false
    * call to “admin-ajax.php” is fine (200)
    * I can select the unattached images, but not the attached ones.

    I spent hours to see what is the problem, but I cannot find the root cause. Probably a conflict with WordPress or the theme, but which conflict?

    Happy to investigate with you with logs and debug traces.

    Hi,

    I have more info on this problem to select and add media items in posts and images:

    I found the one plugin that is causing the conflict: it is the Powerbuilder included with the theme from Templatemonster. This explains why I only have this media problem with this theme, as it is the only one using this page builder developed by them.

    Disabling the page builder makes the problem go away, but I need this page builder as you can imagine, so I cannot disable it. This page builder is still working fine in 2020 with latest WordPress version 5.5.3, even if the last update of the page builder is from 2017.

    I have more than 50 plugins installed, and only this SASWP plugin gives me a conflict with my page builder.

    I can send you a zipfile of the powerbuilder plugin, so that you could check what is not compatible. I have no console errors.

    For the moment, I cannot use the SASWP plugin as I cannot add media in my posts and pages due to this conflict ??

    Hello,

    By email on team@, I have sent you the page builder that I am using, and that is causing conflict with the Schema plugin. I can disable one or the other, but not both.

    To do:
    1. Install the Power Builder plugin and activate it.
    2. Have the Schema plugin enabled for posts.
    3. Create a new post
    4. Button “Add media”
    5. All images must be greyed out and unclickable, so unable to insert them in a post.

    Please see if you can reproduce this bug.
