Add Media Button Not Working

  • Hi again,
    I’m having trouble on two of my sites with the Add Media button. It works fine on the other two sites. All four of our sites are running on version 4.2.2 of WP.

    On the sites that are having trouble, when I click the Add Media button it just bounces back to the top of the page. Nothing opens. Our settings are the same on all sites. We’re using User Role Editor and all the settings are the same on that, too.

    Any ideas?

    Are the different sites in one multisite environment, or are they separate installations of wordpress ?

    If they are separate, are they on different hosting providers ?

    Ok, I’ve gone through both sites that are having issues with the Add Media button and deactived the plugins that those two sites have in common but are NOT used on the other sites.

    Add Media button is not working.

    It’s not the theme, because we use this theme on 4 other sites with the same settings and frontier is working fine on them.

    I don’t know what else to do.

    Hi,

    can you create a user for me on one site that works and one that doesn’t and email usernames and pw to me ?

    I do not want admin rights ?? – Just author, and the ability to create a draft post, I will not publish anything – This is the only way I can debug.

    Can you also send the following information on each of the two sites:

    – List of plugins
    – wp-config.php IMPORTANT: just the information after $table_prefix (do not send db passwords and auth keys) – I need to know if CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS and other constants are set.
