• Nothing happens when I click on the ‘Add Media’ button when I go to add a new post. I have updated to the latest version of WordPress and I have updated all of my plugins to the latest version and I am seeing these in the Console when I load up the ‘Add New Post’ page…

    Script: load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,schedule,wp-ajax-response,autosave,sug…:1048
Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘add’ of undefined

    Script: post-new.php:1454
Error: Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

    Script: load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,schedule,wp-ajax-response,autosave,sug…:1040
Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘hasClass’ of undefined

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

I have identified the problem plugin as ‘Advanced Custom Fields’
