add media button not working

Try activating another theme (like one of the default ones that come with WordPress, such as twentytwelve, twentythirteen) and see if the problem persists.

If you have any plugins, you might want to try deactivating them to see if any of those are the cause the problem.

I’m having the same issue on twentyfourteen, with all of my plugins disabled. I was able to insert an image in my first post, however any future posts will not allow me to insert any media at all. I’ve verified everything is updated, and have tried two different browsers to make sure it wasn’t a browser issue.

It’s the same issue why would I create another topic making more clutter to just get lost instead of consolidating it?

@taubin: These forums have guidelines. Please read them. As you will see, one of these guidelines – entitled Where to Post – specifically states:

Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

more or less this problem of add media button is very common..
I changed my theme 2-3 times, tried deactivating all plugins but nothing happens…
please help.. :/

Just upgraded to WP 3.9 and am having same problem with “add media” to page I can go to media folder but wont upload image to my page when I go to insert media… Tried disableing certain plugins but nothing fixed the problem.

I am not able to add media to my website running on wordpree3.9. Please do something. Its serious
