Add Media button not working

  • For some reason, I cannot insert images via the “Add Media” button; I have to insert the image URL, then click the image to add captions, etc. Definitely the long way.

    Would love any advice how to use the “Add Media” button. When I click “insert into post” nothing happens.

  • Start by clearing any caching on your site and browser. The deactivate all plugins and switch to the default (twentytwelve) theme to see if that resolves it. If so, reverse those steps one by one to find the troublesome plugin or theme.
