Add matches without fixed calendar at start

    Hello,

    I would like to have a league where each members can be added their matches (against other member) without have a restricted calendar at start of league.

    Is is possible?

    I have 2 answers:

    Short-term workaround: create the league and delete all (placeholder) matches that are being generated.

    To be implemented (not available yet): I am thinking on decoupling the creation of the league and populating the competitors and matches for it; this would mean that after creation you can choose to create the calendar of matches or not.

    Version 1.12.6 has been released.

    In this version, matches and competitors are not created automatically. Instead, the workflow for creating a competition is:

    1. create a competition
    2. add competitors for this competition (bulk addition for members has been added)
    3. add matches between competitors (bulk addition of matches has been added)

    This solves your problem of having a restricted calendar at start of league.
