Hi there, I would like to add an option to subscribe to our MailPoet newsletter to a form by Jetpack Forms. One checkbox would be sufficient, its text something like “I want to subscribe and agree to the privacy policy (link)”.

Then the user should be added to a MailPoet list, following the normal procedure … confirmation mail, welcome mail, as configured in MailPoet.

    Hello there @w-sky ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

As of now, there is currently no direct integration between Jetpack Forms and MailPoet that would allow for the seamless addition of a subscription checkbox within your Jetpack Forms.

However, we encourage you to consider using MailPoet’s own forms to collect subscriber information. MailPoet forms are designed to be intuitive and fully compatible with our system, ensuring a smooth subscription process that includes confirmation emails, welcome emails, and more, just as you’ve outlined. We’re curious to know if there’s a specific feature or reason you’re inclined to use Jetpack Forms for this purpose. Understanding your needs better could help us provide a more tailored solution or explore potential workarounds that align with your goals.

In the meantime, if you’re open to exploring MailPoet’s subscription form capabilities or have any specific requirements you’d like to discuss, please let us know.

Thanks. We are already using MailPoet Pro. ?? In this case, it’s just that the Jetpack form has a few input field types that MailPoet does not have, e.g. a date picker. We are using Jetpack anyway so it’s easier to use their forms vs. adding another form plugin.

Also in this case, the subscription is optional. Users shall be able to send the form without subscribing and so a MailPoet subscription form won’t work.

I will add a feature request for integration with Jetpack Form Block at https://feedback.mailpoet.com/feature-requests
