• Currently I’m making a wordpress website for an association. I never build a website before so don’t have that much knowledge about wordpress.

My question, I would like to add the logo of the association where now the website title and website subtitle are standing. Maybe someone can explain how I can change this (in the editor?)

    Many thanks in advance.

    Link to the website

    Regards, Lisa

  • Hey Lisa – you first have to untick / unselect the “Display Header Text” in the Appearance > Customise. That will remove what’s currently there.

Then by utilising the Image widget via Jetpack you can add your logo in with caption.

You might have to use the Custom Menu widget in Jetpack again to then add back in your navigation menu under the new logo. Hope that helps ??

Unfortunately it doesn’t work. When I try to install the plugin it says folder already exist.. installation failed.
(I didn’t install the plugin before, cannot find something with the same name either)

Hey Lisa – here’s some instructions (which you might have already tried, apologies if you did) on installing the Jetpack plugin:

    Maybe something in there…?

Already tried that.. when I try to install the plugin I get an error, he error says the folder already exists..

    Are there any other options?

If the folder already exists then it should appear as a plugin in your plugin directory.

Apart from suggesting a complete reinstall afraid sorry I can’t help further – maybe someone else will be able to…
