Add links in WordPress to Google Custom Maps placemarks

  • I am a tour guide in Manhattan. I am trying to create a map to show tourists where I can take them. Ideally I would like to have a paragraph describing a place with a hyperlink to the Placemark on my custom map. For example, if the paragraph says
    “The Empire State Building is on 33rd Street…”
    I would like people be able to click “Empire State Building” and go straight to the Placemark I have created on the custom Google map I embedded in the site. Can that be done?
