add link title to link quicktag?

  • The Quicktags in the Write Post page are great, but the link button launches a JavaScript dialog pop-up that only has a space for the URL. Is there a way to make the JavaScript dialog pop-up have a space for link title as well?

    As I’m sure we all know, Link Titles Help Users Predict Where They Are Going and also they are great for search engine optimisation.

    I did try searching before I posted the question but couldn’t find it. Your post gave me renewed vigor to try again. Still no luck. Then suddenly I noticed the search on Google link – ta da – it is the number 7 result!

    So, perhaps the search on Google link should be more prominent! Perhaps it should even replace the WordPress search engine!!!!
