"Add link" dialog window opens in background

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not really sure why this happens, and I haven’t yet experienced this myself. I’ll however look into it, as I plan to make the Advanced editor better anyway.
In the mean time, please use this workaround: Instead of using the “Link” button in the “Advanced editor”, please use the “Insert Link” button directly next to the “Advanced editor” button (below the table input fields). That will open the same dialog, but it should not have anything in front of it.

Thank you, Tobias. Unfortunately I don’t use another plugin with the plain editor to doublecheck if it’s really a TablePress issue.

no worries! It might be something where another plugin interferes, but it might very well also be an edge case that I forgot to take care of in TablePress.
The duplicate post is also no problem. I only found that after seeing this thread, and as I had already replied here, I though that it would be a good idea to ask for the deletion of the other thread, to keep the forums clean.

So, does the suggested workaround work for you?

yes, the option works without any problems but it’s a bit inconvenient for my purpose so at the moment write it down each time or copy & paste the “neighbour” line.
