    Hi @cristnn,

I suspect that Gutenberg isn’t able to handle the formatting as expected, and certain parts of the content are therefore removed when making even the slightest change to the ‘unsynced’ content.

As to the actual underlying reason why it happens, we will investigate further; but this is my best guess at the moment. We will post an update here when available.

But note that even without the above, making edits to the content and then ‘re-syncing’ would cause those changes to be lost. You would have to leave the document unsynced for these changes to persist.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

The document loses its format if I don’t sync it.
Is there a solution to this?

    thank you!

    Hi @cristnn,

Are you adding the links, or changing the links? And are you using a plugin for the extra settings for the link, as I’m not getting the same edit window. https://snipboard.io/RiK7eM.jpg

Just so I can to reproduce this and see why it might happen.

If you’re adding the links or changing the links, you can do this in the T&C wizard as well, under the first step. If you’re changing the links directly, to edit the HTML by adding a target _blank for example, we might think of a workaround.

    Let me know! Aert

    Hello,

I am not using any plugin for the link.

Thank you for your response. I have updated the link for the policy conditions from the T & C wizard. However, I noticed that it is not linked to the adding/editing link action. Additionally, when I press enter after text, the formatting is broken. I have attached a video where I added a link in another block outside the Compliantz section, and it is working correctly. However, when I press enter in the Compliantz block, the formatting is lost.

    Hi @cristnn,

Yes, it is likely due to what I described above and specifically occurs with the Gutenberg editor at the moment.

For now, the workaround will be to use the Classic Editor for these edits instead of Gutenberg. Using the Classic Editor will avoid this behavior from appearing when making these changes to your ‘unsynced’ document.

We will look into the reason why it happens specifically in Gutenberg, and adjust accordingly.

    Kind regards, Jarno
