Add lenguage to description feed

Good morning,

Are you using a plugin like WPML to do the different languages? Support for WPML and the Kyero format was added in version 2.0.41 so I’d be interested to know more so wee can assist accordingly.

Thanks for confirming. I’ve spent a few hours looking into supporting TranslatePress and I just don’t think we’ll be able to support it.

Some of the issues I’ve come across are:

• It doesn’t store translated text nicely. If we take the post content for example, it stores each individual paragraph as it’s own translation instead of the whole content area
• There are no PHP hooks available to nicely obtain the translated content
• There are no PHP hooks available to programmatically switch the language.
• Their documentation and range of PHP hooks is lacking

Sorry it’s not better news but I’ve spent a few hours on this and haven’t got anywhere. If you have a contact at TranslatePress and they can advise on the above and maybe point me to something I’ve missed, please do let me know.

WPML is the only multi-lingual plugin that works alongside the Kyero export format at present.
