Add item to cart, checkout, screen greys out

Hi there! So one of the sites I manage started acting strange with credit card payments. You can add an item to the cart, you can advance to the checkout page, you can enter your info, but when you enter your CC and click Place Order, the screen greys out but nothing happens. I tried disabling all plugins except for Woo, I tried the default WP theme, it does it across the board.
