Add images screen hangs up

  • I have used MaxGalleria on two recent new WP installations, completely different themes.

    In both cases, when I go to ADD IMAGES to a Gallery, it just hangs up on the “Adding images from media library, this might take a few moments, please wait…” block… FOREVER.

    I have found that if I wait an appropriate time, and then just ignore the hang and Publish the galleria, the images ARE getting loaded. But it’s a bit of a bitch, because for a large gallery I can’t know if the upload is completed (in which case, the number of images becomes truncated, making a big mess to sort out).

    Has anyone else encountered this issue?

    I could use help fixing this!

    Do you know if you have any timeouts set in your PHP? It might be worth checking with your hosting to see if there are any restrictions. Especially for larger images, the load time could either be server-side or it may just be taking a while to load. How big are your files?
