I am trying to add an image to the left of a page title on the page itself. Also I want to be able to have different images for different pages. The image is in addition to the page title.

    Example:

[IMAGE of any appropriate size] . . . Page Title

I am not looking for thumbnails, just a basic JPEG that is located in xhttps://www.blogname.com/images/picture.jpg

I have looked all over and most posts are more then 2 years old and outdated.

    Anybody have any ideas?

  • Why not add the images using CSS and the classes generated on the <body> tag?

I am still learning PHP. Could you suggest what the code should be and which file do I edit? page.php in the child theme?
And where would I add the CSS at the end of the file?
Thank you for your help and time.

It has nothing to do with PHP. It’s pure CSS.

Still learning how to go about with CSS. Would you be able to provide an example of how the code would like?
