Add image title to fancybox

@gecko1952 – We bundle the Lightbox Effects libraries with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience and do not provide support for making direct modifications to those libraries. You might consider a different Lightbox Effect that provides for displaying the image caption (read: image description) and use that field as needed.

I have tried adapting the script Customizr script and it seems to be working.

The trick I believe is to get it to hook into the link properly. Customizr uses a[rel*=tc-fancybox-group] but the value for rel on my pages is a random string for each gallery like rel=”01914ae0c5d688d0e4cb36be92a9cf44″ not rel=”tc-fancybox-group”.

Seems to work. Now to try to get the left right buttons to work!

Thank you for supplying the fix script, works for me as well!

Not too sure what you mean by “Now to try to get the left right buttons to work!” because mine are still working just fine.

Maybe photocrati will update their snippet page now.

Sorry to tag on to this one but what alterations to the above code can I make so that the description is displayed below the title in the fancybox? Or even better, have the title at the top of the fancybox and description in the footer.

@mattc_uk – Generally I would recommend starting your own topic for this although pinging @houfton might also be best as it would be their customization / work-around that you are looking to enhance.
