• Hello,

We’re experiencing a rather weird problem and are wondering if anyone has experienced this before or has a suggestion for a solution.

We use AMPforWP succesfully on several websites.

However on one website, when the plugin is active, the WordPress editor seems to partially break. Specifically the option to add a hyperlink in the HTML view (something we force for all editors) when creating a post/page.

Clicking the “link” button in the editor will not cause the create a hyperlink popup window to appear, but will cause the sidebar to disappear and scrolling on the page with up and down keys or mousewheel is no longer possible.

This happens even when all other plugins are disabled and AMPforWP is the only activated plugin. If we disable AMPforWP as well, the issue does not occur.

It’s worth noting that other buttons like bold, italics, etc all work fine in all situations. Only the link button doesn’t seem to work and breaks the page.

All sites use WordPress version 4.9.1 and AMPforWP version 0.9.71. They also use the same theme, Altitude Pro 1.03 on the Genesis framework 2.5.3. And this weird problem only occurs on one website out of several we run using this configuration.

Have you ever encountered this behaviour during development or do you have a suggestion for a possible cause for this behavior?

Any tips would be very welcome.

Thank you for creating and maintaining a great plugin. ??
