Add header/footer to specific post based on Post ID?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to add header/footer snippet to specific posts based on Post ID? Currently it seems I can only select the specific posts based on their titles. In my site, there are many posts with the same title, which makes it rather difficult to find the one I want.

    Hello @chcw – Unfortunately, adding snippets based on Post ID is currently not a feature of HFCM. However, you may find that the shortcode method of inserting snippets might be useful if the posts that you want to target are isolated.

    @chcw – Also thought of one quick workaround. S
    1) Simply edit the titles of the posts you want to specify by prefixing them with – XX or YY or ZZ – temporarily
    2) Then go ahead and select those posts in HFCM as they’ll be easy to identify
    3) After you’ve configured the snippets, then go back and edit the post Titles back to their original.

    Since this is a one-time task, it’s may be worth doing it like this. Hope that helps.
