When I try to add a Google file to a WordPress page, it doesn’t work. I start by clicking “Add Google File” then in the dialog box I click the “Click to authenticate via Google” link which takes me to a Google account login pop-up box. After logging in, I get the error message shown below:

    ———————————————————-
    401. That’s an error.

    Error: invalid_client

    Application: Anderson Recruiting Product

You can email the developer of this application at: [email protected]

    no registered origin

    Request Details
    That’s all we know.
    ———————————————————-

Help! I can’t get to work no matter what I try, and I can’t find any useful information on this…sooooooo frustrating!!!!

  • Sorry to hear you’ve been having a problem getting this working.

It sounds like, in the setup instructions for Google Apps Login, you haven’t entered a Javascript Origin when you set up the project in the Google Developers Console.

See the Configuration instructions linked from the plugin settings, or available here:

    https://wp-glogin.com/docs/google-apps-login/configuration/setup-all-versions/

Search in those instructions for “Authorized Javascript Origins” and see if you can go back and slot the information in where needed.

Anyway, I’ll be happy to help further after the Easter break if you’re not sure. Please could you email me instead of posting here since I may not check this thread again:

    Thanks,

    Dan
