Add Gallery Images Stops Working

    As i’m adding galleries and images in the ‘Add Gallery/Images’ page, after uploading about a dozen galleries it stops adding galleries. I can browse and upload, but when i check the drop down to see if the gallery was created, it’s not there. this may have something to do with cookies and headers since i get this error when i refresh the page

    Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
    Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

    this frustrated me because i spent an hour uploading images and new galleries not realizing that it really wasn’t working.

    if i close my browser and clear cookies, all is fine again til i add a dozen more galleries, then it happens again.

    @jbbaab44 – The topic you are referring to is for a third-party extension so it may not apply in this case. My first thought, since you are uploading several galleries at once is to make sure your PHP Memory Limit is set high enough, we recommend it be at least 128 or preferably 256 (or higher).

    You can check under Gallery > Overview … the details are in the right-hand column.
