add forms conflict with contact 7

    The “add post” button is not opening / working. When I disable plugin contact 7 is works. I disable this because of:
    Uncaught TypeError: $form.on is not a function
    at Object.wpcf7.initForm (scripts.js?ver=4.9:61)
    How to use guestbook besides contact 7?

    Hi there, just a follow up. Managed to deactivate the sidebar for this page so the contact7 form is not loaded on this page and this helps. Now it is possible to add a post. Although technical this is not solved, the workaround is good for me.

    Hi,
    I see the theme you are using is including its own jQuery. That will give this kind of problems.

    Is there an option to disable that extra jQuery for the theme?
    Otherwise you could contact the maintainers of the theme.
