    Divi Theme

Is it possible to add footer.php to the child theme ‘Edit Themes’ section? At the moment there are only 3 templates showing – the 404, Theme Functions and Main Index. Whenever I update Divi the footer gets overwritten so my copyright blurb goes missing as well as my AWeber (newsletter) coding. Or is it best to just edit this in the parent template? That would seem pointless as I have just created a child theme.

    Thanks for your help!

    Go to the “Files” tab.
Check the box next to “footer”.
Click “Copy Selected to Child Theme”
Click the link labeled, “Click here to edit template files using the Theme Editor.”
This will take you to the editor, where the new copied footer template can be edited.
