Add filter for removal of files with the .webp extension

    My sites all have a plugin that creates .webp versions for thumbnails. I’ve tested deletion of thumbnails and those are not deleted when the corresponding .jpg, .png or .gif are unlinked.

    Can the authors please remove .webp extensions and/or add a filter that allows additional file extensions to be removed during thumbnail removal?
