"Add Files" not working

  • The “Add Files” button for bp docs stopped working on our website hosted by wp-engine.

    The console shows the following errors:

    Uncaught ReferenceError: bp_docs is not defined edit-validation.js?ver=3.9.2:4
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘frame’ of undefined attachments.js?ver=3.9.2:14

    We do not get this error on our local install but on an identical install hosted by wp-engine ( leadernet.org ).

    Is there anything you can do to make the plugin work on wp-engine or is there anything wp-engine needs to do to make the “Add Files” button work?

    We opened a written support ticket quoting both Boone’s and Mr.Maz’s comments about WPEngine. We then gave them access to our site and they fixed it in no time. You can refer to request no 280243. Clyde Milendez enabled heartbeat. We just reported back to him that you are experiencing the same issue and will probably get in touch with him.

    Wp Engine has finally enabled heartbeat, but we still don’t have upload functionality. My JS console is showing error in attachments.js.
