Add featured image not showing up for subscriber.

  • I have checkmarked the checkbox for allowing a subscriber to upload a featured image, but I cannot find that option when logged in as a subscriber. Where should I see this when trying to create an event as a subscriber?

    I had the same problem and i think i solved it by giving the wordpress rights “upload_files” to subscribers.

    That was it! Is there any way to limit them to only using the picture they upload or have already uploaded? I don’t want to let them have access to other media on the site.

    That might be possible but you probably need to use an additional plugin or custom code for this level of control.
