Add Facebook Like Box below post

  • Hi,

    I want to add a facebook like box below each post. I do have a code for the like box from the facebook developer page, but don’t know where to put it.

    If anyone could give me a CSS that I can copy and paste into the child theme that would be great!

    If possible, I would like two CSS’s that would fit the like box in different positions below post – one for just above the social plugin (the ‘sharing is caring’ one) and the other for below it.

  • A bit more complicated as it needs a hook in a Child Theme functions.php, not CSS.

    Here’s a snippet but you may need more help to position it.

    Thanks rdell for your reply. I had a look at the snippet and the idea but it is for the header position.

    How do you put it below each post?

    Facebook gives you an HTML code, you just have to copy it in your content. No CSS or PHP, just HTML in your WordPress CMS. This solution is ok only if you a few pages, because you have to do it manually (for each facebook like, a new html code).
