    Good Evening,

I was wondering if there is a way to have new items added via an entry screen like using Gravity Forms or some other forms builder.

I am looking to have a couple of users on an Executive Board for a Fan Club be able to enter items to appear on their site so they don’t have to be in the backend of WP.

    Thanks!

    Ken

  • Hey Ken,

There aren’t any “out-of-the-box” options to do this, and no officially-endorsed plugin out there for doing this. We have a premium event called “Community Events” that allows event submissions from a custom front-end submission page, which you can learn more about here → https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/

Aside from that, “Events” from The Events Calendar are just a fairly run-of-the-mill Post Type within WordPress.

So if you find a form builder and it lets you submit custom post types and lets you add meta data (for the event “Start Time”, “End Time”, etc.) then it should work in theory.

    I hope this information helps!
