    that might be possible but Revolution Slider need to support custom post types and/or you need custom coding to make this work.

    I think what you are looking for is a “POST-BASED SLIDER.” I also had some trouble with this at first.

    On my home page on the right you can see Rev Slider using the Events
    Catering To Cats and Dogs

    If you add your own custom fields then you may need to use the “meta:YOURFIELD”

    The site isn’t 100% done but if I know what you are looking to do I would be happy to share any code.

    Hey Joe … thanks for the info. The video was helpful.

    If you get a moment … look at the below link. You’ll see the rev slider at the top of the page. I have a graphic showing where we anticipate putting The Next Event Title and Excerpt. Possible?
