Add Event missing on dashboard

    I can’t add new events. The ‘Add Event’ link is missing on my dashboard. And if I click on ‘Recurring Events’, I get this message: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
    This plugin was working fine until recently. I’m the admin of my page. I tried clearing cookies and restarting my browser, but no luck. Help!

    I solved this on my own but still have a question for the developer. I went to Settings> General> User Capabilities and all the Event Capabilities had been unchecked, so I checked them and saved.

    I didn’t change these settings, so they must’ve been changed automatically. Any idea how this happened?

    Are you running any other plugins or custom code that relate to user capabilities or user roles?

    Is this a multisite version of WordPress or a single site install?
