  • Hi,

It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

I’ve had the same error – turned out to be the “WP SEO Structured Data Schema” plugin that was conflicting. Any ideas?

I am having this issue as well, and I also have both Events Manager 5.7.3 and WP SEO Structured Data Schema v2.2 installed.

Exact same error. Cannot create a new event. Dates must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.

This is confirmed that WP SEO Structured Data Schema v2.2 is the issue. I deactivated the plugin, and was able to create the event.

I also emailed the developer of the WP SEO Structured Data Schema plugin and directed him to this post in the hopes that everyone could work together to get this issue resolved.

Plugin and theme conflicts are usually caused the type of problem described here:

    https://msyk.es/blog/prevent-jquery-wordpress-theme/

This isn’t a theme vs. plugin issue. It is a plugin vs. plugin issue. Event Manager is a plugin, as is WP SEO Structured Data Schema. I have looked at that article and tried to determine if that was the issue. It isn’t.

    Hello,

New version 2.3 is released with fixing this issue.

    Thanks

@kcseopro, awesome! Thanks! I am curious what was the issue?

also, using browser error console; we are getting this javascript error

    thanks..

What needs to be done to correct the error?

Try testing with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme to see if that removes the error. If it does, reactivate them one by one until your find the one producing the error.

If you’ve edited your theme, that’s probably the thing that’s causing the problem.

    Hi,

    I’m getting this error also.

I’ve checked my plugins and switched themes but still the problem persists.

Any other ideas on how to fix this please?

    Regards,
    Ben
