    Thanks for this awesome plugin, i am using free version right now. The free version is solving my purpose for now. I need to tell in advance that i know only 1% of php and not a coder myself.

    I have only manual payment only, because the payment gateways supported by membership 2 do not work properly in my country (India). In india there are many payment gateways but unfortunately none are supported by membership 2.

    Anyway, i am doing fine with manual payments for now, as the membership subscriptions are less in number. The thing which i really miss is the email notification to the admin and member who subscribe with manual payment. The member does not receive any email.

    This feature of sending email after manual payment with custom text (as available for subscription confirmation) and email notification after the invoice is marked paid is highly required for people using membership 2 outside of US/Canada/UK/Australia where paypal/stripe/authorize does not work properly. My request to include this feature if possible.

    For now after struggling a lot with php codes, i have done a temporary fix to send email to user manually. but it will be good if developer of membership 2 consider adding this feature.

    I trust you are doing well today!

    This feature, it’s already exist within the Membership plugin. However, at the current there is a bug and it is not working.

    It should be fixed in the next plugin’s update.

    For the feature, navigate to Membership 2 > Add-ons and activate the Additional Automated Messages. After that, navigate to Membership 2 > Settings > Automated Email Responses, find “Subscription – Completed with payment ” template and activate it.

    Hello Nastia,

    Thanks for quick response. The email Subscription – Complete with Payment, is present in the settings even without activating Additional emails add on. and this email is sent only when membership is activated manually by admins, and not where the membership is applied for by the users/members of our site.

    Yes i noticed that this email is currently not working.

    Hello dr.techy,

    There is no message send when user joins membership that requires manual payment – I think closest one you can try use is “Signup – User account created” so you will get email notification when they register to your site.
