Sounds like they may have registered the post types outside of our plugin, since those tabs show up when we have items in our options. Can you have them confirm if they used CPTUI for those post types or if they did it elsewhere.

If I deactivate CPT UI plugin the menu post types disappear. Still could be technically their post types?

Not suggesting you deactivate CPTUI, just saying they may have not used CPTUI to register the post types. Perhaps they did it in functions.php for your active theme.

As is, CPTUI above is showing zero settings saved.

I was testing if the new post types were related to CPTUI and they seem to be. Can’t get ahold of developer. Checked the functions.php and did not see any mention. Is there a code search plugin/process I might try to skim through the theme editor files?

What do you see when you visit the Tools menu item for the CPTUI menu area? Specifically on the “Post Types” tab and the right-hand side. Do you see 2 empty textareas? or just the left-hand side empty? This will tell me if there’s any of our settings saved.

Beyond that, I’d need to be able to access the site to have much better ideas for what’s going on here.

For trying to find where things were maybe registered outside of CPTUI, it’d be pretty much just checking files for register_post_type() usage.

OK, let me know how to privately contact you.

A “technical support” request over at https://pluginize.com/contact/ will work. Please provide a link to this forum thread so we know the context for the support ticket.

I sent a technical support request two days ago. Possible to assist? Thanks.

Sorry about the delay with this, it looks like a support desk ticket didn’t get created but I am seeing the entry in our GravityForms area. I will be reaching out via a new ticket in a moment for the private correspondence.

    OK, thank you!
