    Hiya,

    There’s already an admin-bar menu item persistent on every page view for “jQuery Migrate”, which I think should be more than sufficient. Ideally users would not need this page often, and will be removing the plugin shortly ??

    There are some contexts in which the admin bar will not be available. Many users hide it as a profile preference, and certain platforms like WordPress.com use their own custom admin bars.

    As a user I very much look forward and appreciate seeing a direct “settings” link in that location and I personally think it’s a good practice, so I must insist on the relevance of adding it in this case.
