• This is something ive always wondered…
How come there isn’t a simple option to show the date in which users registered from the “Users” Screen Options? (and making it sortable).

It really helps manage users on websites that have open registrations (like mine).

Every time this tropic comes up, you get some plugin suggestions or some hacks suggestions. But there shouldn’t be a need for these inconveniences, considering this is such a basic thing that should be native to WP.

This request has been coming on for many years now. I wish the WP team would implement very basic things like these without over-thinking them much.

    Thanks

  • No kidding. Why on earth would WP omit such a very basic function. There is an admin columns plugin that will add the user subscriber date to the admin users panel, but you cannot sort by date unless you pay them $60.

Pay who $60 for what? The features in WordPress software are free.

He was referring to a specific feature that is currently not in WordPress (although it should be). And having to pay someone to add it as a result (see my original post for details).
