Add custom taxonomy to a custom post type

    Hi there,
    I’m running a pinterest wordpress theme and it already includes a custom ‘board’ taxonomy in the functions.php. I created a new custom post type called ‘products’ using this plugin, and was able to tick the ‘category’ bulit-in taxonomony provided to pull in ‘products’ posts from different categories but I am unable to get a feed from the boards.

    My question is, am I able to add the mentioned ‘board’ taxonomy to my custom post type ‘products’ from functions.php ?
