Add custom taxonomy terms as select menu in search form

Hi all,

I have just inherited a website which is being developed locally. I’m just getting into php so struggling a little.

They have created a custom taxonomy for Events called cuisine_type. What they want to achieve is to add the terms for this taxonomy into the Event Manager front end search form so users can filter events based on different taxonomies.

Any pointers would be terrific.
