Add Custom Font Awesome Icons to Existing List for Selection
-
Hello,
I created custom font awesome icons that I created from icomoon. I have imported the custom icon pack using the “WordPress Icons – SVG” plug-in. I see the icons that I created in the WordPress plug-in.
I am trying to use the icons in a box of the Page Builder of the WordPress page. I added a box and in the pull-down list of the “Icon” option I see a list of the standard icons. I know that my custom icons are not supposed to automatically populate in this list. I need to know how to use my custom icon for this box so it shows up in the header of the box as it does with the standard icons.
I tried manually typing the name of my icon and it doesn’t work:
[box icon=”penicon” style=”simple”]
[/box]
This is obviously not the right way to use it but I have no idea where to go to get this information.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kris
