add custom fields to shipping address

  • I know you have provided links to code for adding custom fields to the shopping cart. I need to add custom fields to the shipping address.

    My problem is I am -not- a developer. By any chance, is there an extension which can be easily installed that would let me do this?

    It is possible to add custom shipping address fields, but it’s not a very good system, I’m afraid. Not something I’ve given a lot of thought to up to this point.

    And no, there’s no extension for adding those custom fields.
