Add custom field to Frontier Post

I am short on time and a little burnt out otherwise I could figure it out on my own, but can someone shed some light on this. I need to create a select field so that users uploading to my site can choose a genre for their post. I use the plugin Frontier Post for frontend publishing and would like to add a dropdown field to this plugin’s frontend form. Any help in getting me on the right track would be more than appreciated. Thank you!
