how to add a custom field to the rss feed?

  • I wish to add my custom fields to my rss file.

    I have searched for a plugin and tried (but can’t get it working) custom2feed.php

    Have also tried editing feed-rss2.php, but am struggling ??

    Hopefully someone will post the solution?

    I haven’t done that, but I think some ideas can be found by either using the plugins, or read their code and see how they did it, with the plugins custom2feed and the plugin that inspired it, adsense for feeds.

    I am having the exact same problem Ben. I am also trying to add custom fields to my RSS feed us using custom2feed. I have installed the plugin and activated it but none of my custom fields are showing in my feed.

    I have also tried using Custom Fields For Feeds without any luck.

    Any ideas?

    Ar you guys sure you used custom2feed right? There are some instructions from the plugin author, saying a couple of things you can change in the plugin code itself, to modify options, since it doesn’t have an Options page for this plugin,

    Maybe attending to this will help? (Namely the part where you tell the plugin which of your custom fields to show)
