Our client wants a checkbox to get permission to send text messages via phone. I notice that I can add custom text field and custom text area, but have not found a way to add a checkbox. Also searched your knowledge base.

Could I enable this in functions.php?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @lukefive

As is, we do not offer a way to use a checkbox for those fields, as they are meant more for custom text based values. It would be possible to use this type of input still, and have the user type out “yes” or something similar if they want to receive the text messages, and just leave empty if they don’t. Not the most ideal thing, but technically possible.

We’re assuming you’re wanting to store the permission granting as part of your contact data for the signup?

@constantcontact I will pass that info to my client.

Yes, this is a type of permission granting.

Thanks for the very quick reply.
