Add content block in header

  • Hi there,

    I’m using a video as background for the home page header and made it full screen.
    I need to add a content block to fill the space, but when I edit header.php it doesn’t render well as it scrolls with the menu and logo. I tried adding a widget to the header but that doesn’t work either…

    It’s really hard to image exactly what’s going on. Could you show us a link to your site?

    My site is hidden at the moment…. I’m trying to add text and a countdown timer on the landing page inside #header-image-main-inside. Does that explain it? It seems to be a css issue because the content I add keeps srolling along with the menu and logo when you scroll down the page…

    I would like to add it where the text “Septera Theme Demo
    Because seven, and not three, is the magic number!” and button learn more are. But I’m using the video as header option…

    Does adding a text widget in the header work? Because I’ve tried but nothing shows up…
